A certain rumor has been spreading among the students. They say it concerns a world beyond Kamasylve, and even overhearing it leaves me strangely uneasy.

Lately, I have been making rounds through the academy to learn more. I even found some students making actual plans to set out on an adventure. I tried talking them out of it, but they had no intention of listening.

My father is the same way. Are all adventurers like this? By now, I am used to adventurers ignoring my warnings.

So what am I supposed to do?

After giving it a great deal of thought, I decided to stop trying to hold them back. At an academy that trains adventurers, preventing them from seeking adventure, the very thing that defines them, began to feel as though I were hindering their growth as administrator.

Once I saw it that way, I felt much more at ease.

Instead, I asked the departing students to be sure to send letters or word of how they were doing. That way, there may be something I can do to help. Perhaps I could ask Eileen or Clorince to prepare potions for them, for example.
