May 8 - Eilton

Arrived in Eilton, where the winter bites to the bone. Pushed too hard and collapsed in the snow, but a local doctor patched me up. Rest is recommended, but I'm already itching to move.

May 12 - The Shaman

Invich, I think his name was. Found me half-buried in the snow, carried me back to town. Nearly died out there, but he saved my skin. Without him, I'd be a frozen corpse.

May 13 - Demibeasts

Eilton is home to extraordinary folk—Demibeasts. I've encountered beastlike races a few times before, but never this many gathered in one place.

May 21 - To Camp Balacs

The thaw's come. Heading west. Locals tipped me off about a camp nearby. Invich insists I stop there before Duvencrune.
