Chapter 7: Enslar

Guided by Margarethe's words of the massing holy energy, we approached another stone. There, untouched by dark energy, a lingering specter awaited us—Crescentina, once Enslar's lieutenant. She spoke of what came after the records: countless Valkyries followed Enslar and perished here.

"Any more sacrifice is meaningless. We now... must give up on Elion."

With a plea to halt Enslar, Crescentina's spirit opened a sealed passage before fading away. We pressed on, venturing deeper—until at last, we stood before Enslar.

"You look at me with eyes full of blame. Do you know the truth?"

Enslar's will was unyielding. Whether Elion had embraced darkness meant nothing to her. The essence remained unchanged; futile resistance would only hasten our downfall.

"Not everyone can be as determined as you. Just because you've faced death, did you forget the fear? You say you were granted a second life, another chance, but do you think you've come back against the order of death?"

What did she mean? Her challenge felt like denial itself. I pressed her, but her reply only deepened the confusion.
