May 12 - Abandoned Iron Mine

Made it to the mine. While camping nearby, the Saunils ambushed me. Lost my weapon, got shackled. At least I kept this journal—small mercy. No way I'm living as a slave forever. Escape is priority one.

Caught by these lizard brutes... I've got to break out, but it won't be easy. The Saunil Sheriff's got his eyes glued to me. If I could just nab his mount, maybe I'd have a shot.

Overheard some slaves plotting an escape. Time to find them and hatch a plan of my own.

August 1 - Escape to Altinova

Tonight's the night—we make our move. Once I'm out, I'll head for the nearest city. Altinova, here I come!
