Their brevity and modest prose made them ideal companions for my travels.

At first, I believed them to be mere children's tales, a simple story of a boy growing into an elder. But I was mistaken. The hidden tale of the Palm Forest Boy was unveiled within the pages of the Old Man of Palm Forest, revealing a twist as profound as it was unexpected. As I delved deeper into the narrative, a thought took root in my mind: perhaps one day, I might pen a chronicle of my own adventures. Could there be a greater reward than to inspire others to embark on their own quests through the power of my words?

The title must evoke the allure of mystical adventures, I mused. Yes, "Bartali's Odd Adventure" shall it be!
