A few days luggin' crates and bustin' my arse across the city toughened me up. I've got the lungs to run circles 'round Calpheon while still beltin' out the news now...but I still don't think folk are takin' me quite seriously yet.

When I'm breakin' news 'bout the Kalis Parliament, they come and ask if Basquean Ljurik's puppy's gettin' on alright.

When I've got fresh word of a new deal for the Xian Merchant Guild, they inquire if there's any romance novels in the Holy College's library!

...It's tough to get proper respect here, I'll tell you. Haven't I been poundin' the pavement harder than anyone? It's got me steamin', it does. The road to bein' a herald ain't for the faint.
