The only group of people that could be considered rich in Mediah are the members of the Merchants Union, and even that includes only a few individuals. The success of the Lava Cave, which brought enormous wealth to Mediah to the extent that it was nicknamed "Golden Cave", was made possible through active investments. People who invested in the cave reaped rewards several times greater than what they invested and most moved to Valencia soon after.
