Short Ninespine Stickleback

Description

A small fish with 31-33 plates along its body. The body is vertically flattened and the tail is very slim. There are around 7-8 spines in front of the dorsal fin. The males are slightly taller than the females. This fish has a pointed mouth which opens at an upward slanted angle.
