Serendian soldiers keep a rabbit's foot with them as a charm for ensuring a safe return from missions.
This superstition comes from an old tale about a rabbit that saved the king of Serendia. When the king was lost in the forest chasing deer, a little rabbit appeared and guided the king to his guards.
