Jang Daeseung

Description

Jang Daeseung is the Prime Minister of the Land of the Morning Light, universally recognized to stand above ten thousand other men, second only to the king in power. He is the one who deposed the tyrant Jeongmyeong and enthroned Yeonhwa's younger brother, King Seongmyeong.
Believing the Land of the Morning Light to be a country of scholars, he has filled the royal court with his own faction as the king's health deteriorated, allowing himself to effectively control the nation.
Jang Daeseung has one son, Jang Iksoon, who consistently delivers unsatisfactory results in whatever he does, much to his father's disapproval.
