In Praise of the Bamboo Grove

"Others in this mortal world may call me a fool,
but strolling through Cheongsa in the bamboo grove's embrace,
what room remains for worry or sorrow?"

A poem left by one who settled on bamboo-covered Cheongsa Island after turning away from office and worldly affairs. It is said he now spends his days simply admiring the island's beautiful scenery.
