Description

Vol. 1 of the journal of Ija, the first head of Cheongsan Institute. In the journal is the story of how he met Seolhwa to how their relationship ended. At the end of the journal, is a poem that Ija wrote for her.

The moon follows me as I pace the garden
How many times have I circled this maehwa tree?
The night deepened as I sat there, ignoring my will to leave
The scent of maehwa penetrating my clothes, the flowers' shadows penetrating me
That was when I realized that our love would continue on into the afterlife
