Granny Rock

Description

Long ago, there lived a couple so deeply in love that they could not bear to be apart.
One day, the husband was called out to sea due to an unforeseen emergency. Every day after that, his wife would stand on this rock and pray for his safe return.
Regrettably, she never received news of her husband, and withered away upon the rock through years of fruitless prayer.
The rock eventually took on the shape of the woman who prayed on top of it, and that is how the villagers gave it its current name.
