Edania Gar

Description

The edania gar is a species of gar found mainly in rivers and shallow seas. It is distinguished by its relatively broad snout, which flattens out toward the sides at the tip. It feeds primarily on aquatic larvae and zooplankton, while fully grown adults prey on crayfish, shrimp, and small fish. It can grow to around 51-132 cm in length. Its ovaries and eggs are known to contain a potent toxin.
