Apgu Pavilion

Description

A scenic pavilion on Cheongsa Island. An official who once stopped by was so taken with the view that he named it Apgu, meaning a pavilion where one befriends the gulls and delights in their company, living freely amid nature without worldly desire.

Ironically, the beauty of the place tends to inspire quite the opposite. Wealthy visitors often seek out the Chorong Merchants to ask how they might purchase it. Curiously, whenever they do, every gull nearby takes flight.
