The Pond Where the Deity Dwells I: Strange Rumors of Byukgye Institute
At Byukgye Institute, a rumor began circulating among the scholars
that if you throw a worn item into the large tree pond,
a deity will replace it with a new one!
When the traveler arrived at Byukgye Island
they became curious about whether the deity truly existed.
As the traveler asked passing scholars about the deity,
they responded:
"I heard Scholar Kim got new shoes."
"Scholar Lee was running around with a new jegi."
"Something new? Scholar Park was looking all over for the flower shoes they lost."
The traveler found what the scholars say to be strange and
looked for the Byukgye headmaster to ask about this deity.
"You want to know about the deity? Hm...
Then how about you go to the large tree pond yourself?"
Heeding his words, the traveler headed to the large tree pond.
